Message HF used to sell the 3m discs, but now have thier own generic version. They also sell the refill pads. Use them on pretty much any surface i need to clean up, Manifolds, plenum, heads, etc. They come in fine,medium,or course. They connect just like the roloc discs, use the same holder.

I use a cupped wire brush in a drill for the small ledge the thermostat sits in.
